Internal cracks/holes around window

Hi,

Just wondering the best way to fill and prevent the holes cracks in the internal plaster around the window frame as per the pictures attached?

Unsure whether to polyfilla, caulk, or other?

You need to stabilise the crack, this may involve making it a little bigger, this guy uses polyfiller, but toupret is my preferred choice.
