We've started renovating our kitchen and we're wondering whether we can safety remove an internal wall
The wall itself does not appear to be supporting anything and runs in line with the joists above and there is no wall that runs directly in line above.
We have blocked the side door In the hallway area and the wall we intend to take out is the wall from the hallway to the kitchen area.
I've attached an image of the wall on question and the floorplan.
I've approached a few SE and they have differing ideas that it could be a butressing wall and other that it's not doing anything and can come out.
