Internet 'adjustable' alarm?

We're looking at a rental cabin about 3 hrs drive from home.

Obviously we want it alarmed but want to change the disarm code between guests without having to drive up there.

Does anything exist that can have its setting changed remotely via the internet?

Any IP connected system can do this. Honeywell Galaxy, Texecom, Etc. Just add on the appropriate comm's module.

Hard wired Ethernet is reliable and low cost if you have broadband. You can also have GSM if the signal is good in the area. It's more expensive for the GSM modules and SIM card though.

Should have probably added that I'm in the USA, but at least I know its possible.

Yes, these are UK models. Have a look at the Honeywell Vista range in the US. This forum doesn't really cover the US market.
