Why is it that whenever I open explorer or it opens when clicking on a link does it not open fully expanded? It always leaves a half inch gap down the right hand side of the screen.

What usually works for me is, if you stretch the window fully so that it fills the entire screen. Then click the maximise button. The next time you open it, it should be ok.

Err, well I had actually tried that but it still opens with a gap.

I'm having a similar problem - when a link opens a new window, it is very small. Even if i resize it every time, it doesn't learn.

For some reason I don't know, if I open a picture in Windows Picture & Fax Viewer and resize it, the size seems to carry onto Explorer.
