Hi All,

I've just got some Iron On Edging from B&Q and it states "using a warm iron, preheat surface before applying edging".

Am I correct in assuming that they are referring to the surface of the table edge and not the edging itself? If so, does any heat need to be applied to the edgin too?

When they say 'warm', how warm do they mean? Dial set on two spots; three spots?

Thanks.

Lay the tape onto the edge of the board and apply the heat to the tape, pressing down as you go, keep the iron moving, a sheet of brown paper between iron & edging will help stop scorch marks. I use my iron on "linen" setting.
