is it me or is the forum being really slow? (slower than usual) i am also finding that half way through a reply it just pauses for anything between 5 and 30 seconds

I know i had a virus, but that ha now gone (thanks guys) but the forum seems even slower than usual, all other sites and dare i say forums are fine, just diy not being slow

Breezer, have you cleaned out your tempory Internet files folder, defragged the HDD and cleaned out all your cookies?

These things need to be done regularly or the machines will slow to a crawl, especially after a virus infection.

I agree with Breezer. Specially when editing a post (which I do when I spot a type the chekcer didn't spot ) it can take what feel like ages for the post to get published again.

having the same problems and my pcs just had a service and clean up, seems to be going woefully slow

I must admit that a few of my posts this evening have taken a long time to appear and a few failed to post first go...

I wonder if the forum needs a spring clean early
