I bought a Skoda Favorit estate as a run-around a few months back, just needed to get a new tax disc and have taken a look at the MOT cert.
It said an advisory note was provided, but not given to me at the time.
Looked it up online, and found the following details that mean nothing to me, is it worth trying to get this through an MOT next time? It's only worth a couple of hundred!

Offside front wishbone bush. bonded suspension deteriorated but can function as intended (2.4.F.3)
Blue smoke from exhaust
slight front brake imbalance

What do you think? it passed the MOT last time with this.
Cheers

blue smoke from exhaust? is it a petrol or a diesel?
suspension bush is nothing, probably still an advise.
brake imbalance, probably needs pads.
either way its worth the 40 quid or so to test and find out, you can always get a hundred or so for scrap.
