You will get more muck out of a magnaclean then anything else.
Fit the 28mm dirt seperator on the return and a 28mm air seperator on the flow. This is the ideal location for each unit, as water is most aerated at its hottest point ie the flow, and for obvious reasons its preffered to put the dirt seperator on the return although not essential as it can take several passes to remove sediment.
I will add though that I prefer the TF1 as it removes more magnetic debris on the first pass.
I completely agree that they are fantastic for collecting black sludge, especially if you tip some X400 in (even after you think it is clean)You will get more muck out of a magnaclean then anything else.
