Just bought a new combi drill, dewalt. And notice is has a slight Chuck wobble on it.

was considering returning it for a different brand. However, when reading the reviews for the alternative drill I was thinking of buying there were some people complaining of the chuck wobbling on this as well.

Which leads me to ask is this something which is common with most modern drills and should I even bother exchanging it? Thanks

i had to change my Dewalt combi drill, cheapest version, they make, but came as a special offer kit, due to chuck wobble and actually in screwfix tested the 3 they had in stock and took the one with no wobble
Make sure its NOT the drill Bit, try a few

See my other posts about wobbly chucks.
Unfortunately they're made in china where there's no quality control, even for the premium brands.
I tested many and ended up buying a bosch professional (blue range).
Wobbly chuck is not acceptable in my opinion for any drill.
