It would be a bit like writing War and Peace Wabbit Poo. The best thing to do is to see if you can get a DVD or a video on the subject. To do cement rendering is one thing, but to try to put it into words is another. Better looking at pictures, and you can watch them over and over again.

i think one of the most overlooked and crucial elements to successful rendering is the mix of render itself.
the float coat needs to be aerated and 'fluffy'. the scratch coat needs to be both receptive and capable of resisting too much suction.
getting the balance right is part of the key to success.
the other part is years of skill.
