Is there a tool available?....

...For holding the 'lugs' on a tank connector whilst tightening it with a spanner? I normally use whatever I have available but some makes are quite difficult to grab hold of.

A large adjustable spanner / mole grips mate, or a length of flat steel bar that will diagonally locate against the lugs of the connector.

Alternatively, just buy your tank connectors from Plumbase, they've got a hex nut on them so you don't have to faff with the lugs
