I'm wanting to get the house all energy friendly and I'm in about the radiators, so thought I'd upgrade to TRV's.

All valves are the same throughout my house, however, I noticed that there is a Frost setting on them so wondered if they are a TRV?
I don't hear a sort of thermostat noise, similar to my TRV on my new towel radiator.

I do know TRV's have been around for years.

What do you mean Kev?

My mum's Danfoss TRV's have thermostat written below Danfoss on the end and it's looks totally different (her's is about 25 years old!)

Christ Kev.you must be old! :P

Excellent document! Thanks. By the looks of the schematic, that's what I have. Also noted that this is a dry type actuator and not liquid / wax filled.
I'll have a search about to see what the differences are.

Thanks all! :)

I suspect that he means it's a Danfoss TRV, on the grounds that the valve looks exactly like a Danfoss valve, and the thermostatic head has the word "Danfoss" printed on the top of it.
