Spark123 said:There is no point in it at all, sounds like someone has mis-interpreted the regs. The concern is the supply cable (radial) is a single 2.5mm² cable which is not rated high to supply all the socket outlets from a 32A breaker.
So, if i change the MCB to 20 amp and do what securespark has suggested will that suffice.
Also i was googling and found this:
http://www.iee.org/Publish/WireRegs...s_7671_amendment_1_2002_and_ring_circuits.pdf
Does that mean that it was considered to be ok before this amendment.
I'm just trying to understand why it has a 32A MCB
Cheers
