Planning on installing a shaver socket (outlined red in image) in a bathroom which will be to the right of the sink but immediately left to the left of a glass shower screen (outlined green). Will this be an issue?

You can see where the wall mounted taps will go, we will have a 1m sink and the shower will be centres to the green ibox shower valve on the right side of this wall. The width of the shower is 1m and the glass shower screen will be centred to the hole on the wall just to the wide of the alcove and the shaver socket a few inches to the left of the shower screen.

Yes, that will be alright, but the shaver socket must be to BS EN 61558-2-5; isolating transformer type.

The cable must be installed in the wall vertically or horizontally to the socket.
