Hi

In the process of getting bathroom done and came home to this…see photos.

I am used the the tile trim facing the room, like a frame, but tiler has done it this way facing in towards the recess.

It doesn’t look right to me and looking online can’t see anything else like this!

Is this even right?

Ridiculous.

Also with large format tiles they should be using a self leveling system.

Some of the tiles are already damaged.

How do you mean damaged?

No idea what a self levelling system is?

The way the trim is on will this do any damage or just cosmetic look, I mean can the go that way?

I had a look no damage, just excess adhesive it’s wiped off.

The line you can see is on a lot of the tiles part of the design, although phot makes it look like a crack it’s actually smooth.

It's still a ridiculous use of the edge trim. They should have used Schlüter-Finec or similar of they wanted a low profile.
