I want to put ISDN onto every telephone point in a house (5 points), but the telephone wiring has been "starred"out from the master telephone point. Can I get way with this wiring config or does it HAVE to be daisy chained? This would mean a lot of chopping into new plaster! Can I get away with a terminating box for all of the points?

obviously you have isdn, but could you not change to broad band as its faster / cheaper and you can do as you suggest

The wiring can daisy chained and you should use cat5 cable. Alternatively you could take the outlet from the ISDN linebox to a patch panel and star out from there, again with cat5 cable. Don't forget that each outlet requires an ISDN termination or ISDN termination adapter is you use cat5 sockets. If you are planning to use ISDN phones these will cost you a lot more than a standard phone.

I think you may find that ISDN services are not supplied through the usual BT master socket.

Go for Broadband, as Breezer say's much cheaper and quicker.
