my sis in law told me today our local Asda is selling easter eggs, the assistants were moaning they hadnt had all their chrismas pay due to a prob and they were putting out the eggs
i am def turning into a grumpy old b, cause i told my wife i'm going to look at the sell by date on them to see if it is before easter and if so i'm going to complain (dont know who to or why but it might make me feel better)

The sheer volume of eggs invoved means they cannot simply store all the stock at distribution centres until a month before easter. This would have major cost implications with both storage and transportation. Its the same with Xmas stock. They have to ship it to stores as it is delivered into the company.
