I find "George Floyd" just doesn't trip off the tongue, at least for me anyway.

27 Injured Police officers might beg to differ. These people on the streets attacking Police are animals. The female police officer thrown from her horse will be off work for 4 months and by the sound of her injuries is luck to be alive.
If you tried hard enough, you could compare the bad apples in the protests to the bad apples in the police service. And the lazy demonisation of peaceful demonstrators in the same light as those saying 'defund the police'.
On these injuries, are we talking about 27 hospitalisations or just 27 bee stings (as has happened in the past)? I haven't been following that closely but I didn't think the UK protests were much more violent than your average Football crowd. Although I'm happy to be corrected.
I too stand to be corrected but, nowadays, it certainly seems that your average UK protest descends into some form of trouble or violence , whereas it is pretty rare at most football games. Especially as football trouble is usually headline news.

yes its awful the way there are people who just turn up to cause trouble -professional thugs and trouble making activists -some of them from the far right, some from the far left.
its the same mentality as those people who start fighting once they've left the pub, or are in the queue for he kebab shop.
Nothing to do with bee stings.
