Yes it was a play on an old joke "Iceberg, Goldberg they're all the same to me" which is the only bit I can remember of it. Can't even remember if it related to the Titanic or lettuces.
I love the conspiracy theories which abound over ol' Softy. The Mrs Softy was a funny one, shame it didn't continue for the craic really. But, given the level of vitriol that seems to surround the ol' boy, I just think it's funny how he is resurrected by those who profess to not stand the bloke at every opportunity.
I reckon there's a grudging respect in there somewhere for him and his erudite ways from you lot - you're just in denial about it.
