Long story short....
Should I put a JB next to the consumer unit for an external lighting circuit, or can I have, 2 x 1.5mm T + E cables originating at the same MCB at the CU. 1 T+E for front door lights and 1 for back door lights.
Any reason why I shouldn't terminate both cables at CU?

are you adding a new breaker for these two lighting points just out of interest?

it is perfectly allowable to have two cables from the same breaker as you intend to do (im assuming all other circuit calculations are ok).

make sure the lights or the CU are labelled clearly so that no confusion is caused to anyone working on the circuit in the future.
