Mandy mandelson says that the unemployed 'should get on their bikes' and go to Europe if they really want a job, apparantly there are jobs in Poland at 77 pence per hour or cleaners wanted in Portugal at £2.75 per hour, with wages like that i can't see a stampede from England to Europe happening just yet.

maybe it will educate Brits into realising, that you don't actually need a gas guzzling 4X4 to transport a single child 600 yards to his/her school.

in fact a battered fiat panda or moped can transport a family of four just the same.

I went to price a job for a Polish guy who had been living in England for years, and he was saying that the Poles (or alot of them) are returning home as they have won a big sporting event in 2012 (athletics I think) and the government have doubled the wages
