On 3 December the Private Members' Bill to keep BST during winter goes to its second hearing in Parliament.
Time to urge your local MP to support this bill.

Good idea but is there not an active petition on the prime ministers website where we can add our name? :D

Why not just keep the same time all year round, but allow schools, offices, works etc to change their start and finish times?

I want to sign the other one, to scrap BST alltogether..
it was only brought in for the war and is still going to this day..
it messes all sorts of people up with flights etc if you happen to be on holiday when the clocks are changed..
we should just stick with GMT.. otherwise we might as well be in france..

Happened to me in Corfu a few years back, we spent the whole week an hour ahead without realising. The worst of it was paying £30 for a sightseeing trip that we 'missed' cos we got there 5 minutes late. (we were actually 55 minutes early!)

it wouldn't be as bad if everyone's clocks changed on the same day but not all do and not all change at all..
