Joiner not using Biscuits..is this ok?

Our Joiner has arrived and is busy mitre + fittng our worktops, he told me that he wont be fitting the biscuits because he didnt have the bit to cut them for his router...

...is this OK?

personal choice realy
he is the one that has to come back so he must be happy with his work
assuming he is using worktop bolts they should hold firm

Biscuits in worktop mitres are a matter of personal choice. I suppose it makes it easier to level them up when tightening the bolts underneath. It doesn't always make them level and any minute levelling has to be done by hand/feel.
