hi, newbe to this forum.

i'm fitting a new kitchen and decided to cut the worktop the professional way, ie router and jig.

now the cuts are made also the rebates for the jointing clamps i was wondering what my options were for adhesive of some kind.

the jointing clamps come with a small tube of clear silicone to smear between the surfaces.

is this sufficient or should i use a good wood glue instead? perhaps with a coloured dye just in case of perfections.

what have you found ok?
