Hello,

Please can someone tell me where you can buy this stuff? I can only seem to find jointing compound in small quantities for waste pipes etc... Is there such stuff as gutter specific jointing compound? Alternatively, can I just use the roof sealant that comes in silicone cartridges?

I am planning on using it on a mill valley gutter outlet (installed where the valley gutter has sagged and pooling occurs). The outlet is constructed from downpipes and has quite a long travel to the exterior wall with only a small downward gradient. Essentially it is a good, inexpensive solution that has worked well to date, but it has started to leak at the joints so I want to replace it all and try and avoid the leaking in the future! Hence the jointing compound question!

Many thanks for any help.

Post a pic of detail. What are you filling? Huge gaps or will a thin membrane do. What material are you adhering too?
