Afternoon all, I'm looking for a bit of inspiration and ideas!

In our bedroom we've got juliet balcony doors - when we moved in last September there was already non-drill venetian blinds fitted, now these were fine at first over the darker months but now it's just so light in the mornings it wakes us up really early.

So I've started thinking about alternatives but would like to gather other potential ideas!

Our initial thoughts were:

- Replacing with blackout venetian blinds, is that even a thing? I'm also struggling to find somewhere that do a similar non-drill style to what is already there, as the windows are quite narrow.

- Roller blackout blinds would be good, however as we overlook several gardens we can't really just not have anything there during the day unless I want to give the neighbours an eyeful...

- Getting the windows tinted was another option but not sure if it would make it too dark during the day.

- Curtains would be a real last resort.

Any other ideas or recommendations would be very welcome!

Single roller blind from top frames , leave in Venetian blinds for day use , drop roller blind at night .

Reflective film, would work during the day, keep the heat out, and prevent anyone seeing in while ever it was brighter out, than in - that would be true of any film. Additional blinds, would obviously be needed, for after dark.

I had integrated blinds fitted between the double glazed panes. You can simply replace your existing glazing with these. Much more effective at keeping light out.
