Karcher Pressure Washer

I have a Karcher pressure washer K2.94 - after using it for an extended period it has started cutting shutting down for a while before coming back on. You can hear it make a noise and its available for use. It only operates for a minute or two now before shutting down for around 5 minutes.

Someone has mentioned that it might be oil in the condenser unit, but I don't really know - any ideas what might be causing this ?

I don't know about oil in the condenser unit, whatever that means, but I do know I have a Karcher with exactly the same symptoms. I won't be buying a Karcher again, their reputation seems to be a bit iffy.
