This is the mrs car, skidded on ice and hit the Kerb sideways; now the wheel is fouling the arch. Possible wishbone or steering rack damaged?

Any advice on likely costs or where to get fixed please?

thanks for the replies; any idea of costs to repair?

Its a bit of a difficult one really - certainly you'll get a bottom wishbone for around £90 I think from a motor factor, but it will be twice that from Ford. Likewise the repair - if its just a wishbone 2 hours should sort it (on a normal vehicle) so you can go to an independant garage or Ford - but what we don't know is the possibility of other damage.
At least the car will need to have its tracking and probably steering camber geometry checked so that expense will have to be part of the equation too.
If the wheel has touched the arch then there may also be paint issues....you get the drift!
If you have any doubts about body alignment damage, visit a quality bodyshop - you don't want sub standard work with a motor like that.
John :)
