Chancellor Rishi Sunak and his wife Akshata Murty have made the Sunday Times Rich List of the UK's wealthiest 250 people for the first time.

Their joint £730m fortune ranks them at 222 of the paper's annual list.

What was it the Tories used to say? In it together. They don't say that so much these days.

This isn't a court, it is a general discussion forum. So I'll ask again. Isn't most of it hers?
What I means is, they are married, they have kids, if they were to separate it, he'd probably get a fair chunk of that.
So, it is his.

Anyway, he must have been pretty wealthy already, he went to a £34k/year school before meeting his billionaire wife.

It shouldn't be referred to as a cost of living crisis.

It's the Cost of Covid Crisis

Tory scum alive and well in Westminster.
How's that good ol' ex Labour leader, Tony Blair doing these days? What's he worth nowdays, a couple of hundred thousand tied up in his house like a lot of other people? How about his old mate, Gordon Brown? Neil Kinnock? Ed Milliband? Jeremy Corbyn? I bet they're all just getting by on their state pensions eh? I wonder how much Starmer is worth at the moment? I bet a hard working, half decent builder from Staffordshire is worth more than any one of those old socialists.

Not with a prenup it isn't
Pre-nups have no stsnding in UK law. The split of wealth is decided by the courts (if it gets that far).

Decided on a basis of need and what a person has become accustomed to.

He was a hedge fund manager prior to going into politics, so he has the ability to earn a lot of money, but, he would still get a very nice chunk of his wife’s company shares, were he to fight for it.

“Tony Blair” and “socialist” are oxymorons. Same with Starmer for that matter
