Hello,
I would like to use kingspan roof tile panels (100mm) - which look like a tiled roof for a side extension to my house comprising a garage and utility room.
The plan size of the extension is 8.4M x 3.07m. I would seek to
minimise the roof pitch (12 degree, 15 degree?), which would be
mono-pitch away from the house wall. The roof would be supported by
215mm block at each side.

What support would I need to provide to the roof tile panel, with the aim
of MINIMISING any rise in roof height or intrusion of the supports into
the room?

This structure would have to comply with building regulations.

I also to intend to use the same panel to re-roof an outbuilding 3M x4M -
building regulations compliance is not required.

The xlforte type of panel would be used - lighter?

regards

Graham

The MI's say minimum 12 degrees.
Check kingspans specs on purloin spacing. At a guess I would say 1.2m.
The purloin depth will depend on the span whether its 8.4 or 3.07.
If its 8.4 then a girder or trusse will probably be needed.
I'm not a builder so treat my advice with caution.
