It’s not the bbc saying this, they are passing on research. People are obsessed.

Or unable to understand that the BBC reports news.

They said (BBC) we, and animals, have been doing it around 21 million years - now, how could they possibly know that? They also don't know why we, and animals do it - but do it, they do....

Our last dog, used to make a feint of bitting your nose, then it would turn in to a kiss.

as in sticking your tongues in each others mouth ?
its something I have never tried with a dog, or ever even considered - doesn’t sound very hygienic to start off with
