howdens measured up our cabinets and when we put them in position they are 12m too tight on one side of the wall.

What are our options? Could we trim the adjacent side by 12mm??. This would mean we get less space for service (currently 65mm)

We haven't plumber our hob in yet but the only thing on that side is a 22mm gas pipe(which is flush against the wall) . So providing the fitting to the hob isn't much thicker than the answer would be no.

I'd cut them down then. My parents cut a full row of normal and tall units to give a bit more floor space.

Obviously the worktop will need the same chopping off.
