Hi how soon after installing engineered wood flooring can you install the kitchen? We can't do it the other way round because we have free standing units.

Thanks

As soon as it's laid pretty much.

The floor should be acclimatised to the room 48-72 hours before being laid.

To do this you need to remove the packaging and leave it. The room should be dry like any normal lived in room. No wet plaster or flooring screed. If there is underfloor heating leave this on for 8 hours before allowing the floor to acclimatise as the under floor heating can push moisture out of the floor.

Not recommended for a kitchen floor certainly shouldn’t be putting units on top of it as it prevents expansion, First leak will destroy it.
