As part of some extensive renovations I’m going to put a new laminate floor and kitchen in. Is the order of work screed, laminate kitchen then base units on top or, screed, base units then laminate?

Cheers,

TC.

It's entirely up to you. If i was tiling the floor then I prefer to tile under the units. With laminate I prefer to just lay the flooring upto the base unit plinths. Chances are, it won't last as long as the kitchen and it'll be easier to change in future. If you have free standing kitchen units with no plinth then you'll want to lay the flooring underneath.
