Hi. I'd appreciate any advice on this. Am re-doing my kitchen but have a sash window which is just below the intended worksurface height (it is where I'd planned to put the sink). About 6 inches below where the worktop should be. I'd imagine reducing the size of the window will be really expensive (and probably spoil the look of the house from the outside). Has anyone else had this problem or come across it before? Would appreciate any ideas. One option would be to continue the worktop across the window (albeit at a slightly higher level) and add some form of splashback made of the same material to stop things falling down the gap. Not sure this'll look too great. Infact, am finding it very hard to visualise what it'll look like at all!. I don't suppose anyone had seen pictures of how it's been done before? Have looked everywhere on the web and cant find anything similar. Any views greatly appreciated. Cheers.
