Can anyone tell us a different brand of lights that could replace Knightsbridge LU5 4LT, and whether we can easily replace them ourselves?

We had 9 of them installed during a kitchen refit. They soon started flashing but the builders would only replace the flashing ones each time, and with the same brand, despite us saying they all seem to be failing so perhaps try another make/batch. Now the builders are long gone, they're flashing again and we want to completely replace them, but we don't want to buy the same ones.

Any help is greatly appreciated - thanks in advance!

Anything that fits into the same size hole, or into a larger hole.
Take the whole thing out and whatever wiring / driver unit / connectors are in there to see what the situation is.

LU5 4LT is a postcode.

Thank you. I feel a bit dopey thinking that was the model number. But then, manufacturers tend to put part numbers on parts rather than postcodes in my experience.

How amazing is it that some would install
NINE 60 Degree angled little area illuminating "Down-Lights", to light a whole Kitchen Area,
which actually requires "General-Lighting" - which could be provided by one, or more, LED Panels -
and
(possibly) localized "Task Lighting"
and/or
"Under Cupboard" lighting ?

Not amazing at all. I have a similar number in my kitchen. Perhaps you only have small kitchens on your prisoners' island?

What size are the holes in your ceiling?

If they are 72 - 74 mm then swap them all for KSR down lights that have customer changeable GU10 bulbs

https://www.mlaccessories.co.uk/products/3406555/datasheet.html is the datasheet for your lights. According to that data sheet they are designed to run directly off the mains, there is no seperate "transformer" or "driver". So pretty much any mains powered downlight of the right physical size should be a suitable replacement.

The picture in the datasheet shows a short flylead to a terminal box, you should be able to disconnect the wiring from this (with the power off obviously) and connect it to the terminal box for your new light.
