Hi all,
Doing my research.
4M opening, 4 panels.
The area is very low crime so I'm happy with double glazing without laminate. I'd have preferred triple but with Korniche it's not an option. Triple would also make installation more difficult.
I'll probably open them like once a year so being top hung doesn't have much benefit I feel.
Really they're being used as an alternative to picture windows which after investigation I've found cost a lot more. Bifolds being in fashion have economy of scale working in favour.
I'm aware that they have quite wide frames which detracts from the view but at 4M I feel there's plenty glass still and it's not a dealbreaker.
Or stay clear and buy something else?
Cheers,
Andrew
