Hi there this might sound like a stupid question.I Have installed 3 LV lights with transformer in bathroom. The lights come with cable attached and a small metal pin for pushing into connector which then connects to tranny. But there is about 2.5 m of flex on each light. How do i reduce the size of flex and keep the metal pin as I'm left with a load of excess flex. Lights are only 40 cm apart.and when I have a mess of wires when i pull down last light.thanks for any help

The point of this kit is so that you don't have to physically wire it - running ELV lighting is notifiable work unless it's all 'plug-and-play'.

Why can't you just loop the spare flex into a bundle and secure with a tie-wrap?

Cheers dippy stupid question really.Thats exactly what I did.BAS don't think I need to notify in Glasgow.Sorry for wasting time guys thanks

 Sorry - didn't spot your location

I know that in some ways the Scottish regulations are stricter, but I don't know what the details are when it comes to jobs like this.
