Large format tiles, varying thickness

Hi

Laying large format - 600mm x (600 to 1200mm) kitchen floor. Tile thickness varies from 18- 22mm. Not a pro tiler ( by a long way) but have done a decent job with levelling systems. Will wedge style levelling systems work on slightly varying thicknesses? They are dead square, 3mm grout line but want to avoid that lippage :).
