Might not be the right place (being a techy forim) but where could I get some "oversized" light switches from. I just want something a bit different to the usual choice.
ban-all-sheds
Thanks
That's them. Been all round MKs site looking at hollow skirting boards etc but they must have slipped by. Do you know if they are standard sized plates or are they larger too?
Thanks
Reason I ask is that my plasterer was a bit lazy in finishing around the edges of the back box and my skills are limited. Was going to do a "cover up" job.
Someone in the office mentioned "finger plates" but the only ones i'v seen are ugly plastic ones.
Anyone know if others exist and where to find them maybe in stainless or some metal.
try b & q, they have a lot of decorative electrical stuff. You could always build a little wooden frame around the switch. I think wilko actually sell a wooden frame that fits around the switch, with sticky back pads.
Or you could buy some polyfilla and make good the plasterer's mess.
