What's alternating water?

Is the bulb brighter now than before, maybe the previous owner used it to dim the light or maybe nicked 110volt bulbs from a building site

Not sure, because the place was in a terrible state when I moved in, and I started ripping things out.



However… he did work for the housing dept of the council, and there was much evidence of things having “migrated” from there to here, so you might well be right



As I say, main thing is now I have just an ordinary 240V supply, and a nice low-consumption LED in my ceiling

What's alternating water?

Electric Mountain or Dinorwig Power Station, built 1984 it pumps water up the mountain when excess power, and using it to generate power when there is a heavy demand.
