Morning,
I have dug up the kitchen floor in my victorian house, in order to have water underfloor heating installed. I have gone done 20cms, and have reached soil.
I have levelled it, but am now not sure what needs to be put down before a damp proof membrane?
can it be put directly on the soil? or do I need to dig down lower, and put in harcore, and then sand to smooth it? if so, how deep must the hardcore be?
Any help would be greatfully appreciated. will post pictures shortly.
cheers
Simon.
