Hello everyone

I have a newly laid concrete floor, 150mm hardcore, sand, dpm, 100mm insualation with a concrete slab. I want to batten out the slab with 2x2s then lay p5 chipboard over it ensuring I get a perfect level.

Are there any issues in terms of ventilation preventing the timbers from rotting etc, or is this method ok?

Should I allow a minimum amount of time before laying the battens to allow the moisture from the concrete to leave?

Many thanks
