Lead to dormer windows

I wonder if someone could advise us. We are having 4 dormer windows built to our loft conversion.Each window 1.5metres wide and 2 metres deep.
our roofer says that we need lead trays 1.5 metres wide to go under the windows .He also said we need 9 x 240mm x3 metre lengths of code 4 lead .he also says we need 1x6metres of 600mm lead and 1x3 metres of 600mm lead to do the job.
Does this sound ok ?It seems a lot of lead but then I am not roofer.

I think the 9 rolls of 240mm will go to the cheeks of the dormers and the 1.5 metre trays under the dormers what I dont know where the 9m and 3 m lenghts of 600 wide lead go to ?Any roofers who would advise me please?

The valleys will be GRP (fiberglass) ,under the dormers will be purpose made lead aprons 1.5 metres wide (made to fit the dormers)(not made by the roofer) but fitted by him.
