Leaking isolation valve in awkward area - best temporary repair?

RE flexible tap connectors, generally speaking are they to be avoided? Is it better to run copper pipe all the way to the taps?

Hi folks

Just resurrecting this as hoping to have it fixed in the next few weeks while having a refit in another part of the house.

Seeing as the system will already be drained on the one hand, but given the awkwardness of the position of the valves on the other, what would you expect to pay (or charge if you're a plumber) to remove the valves and replace with copper pipe?

(PS - and just to updater you all, the valve did scale over and stop weeping in the end, which meant it wasn't such an urgent fix)
