An upstairs radiator has a leak. it is not coming from the valve itself, but seems to be a leak on the fine bore copper pipework approx 5mm below valve level. How do i permanently repair this?? Can you still buy fine bore tubing to replace the leaking bit and if so what coupling do I use to join the old pipework to the newer section. any ideas gratefully received  :)

Firstly you need to determine tube size, 8 or 10mm? Next, remove damaged section, possible partial drain down involved, floorboard up out with old pipe & repipe into rad , appropriate size socket will be required as will a new olive.
