I noticed a wet (soggy) patch in my nice laminate flooring in my bathroom, behind the toilet! I checked first and foremost the inlet and outlets for WC operation, as I was very careful when fitting the pot all seals including the "doughnut" between pan and cistern was fine!
Then I discover a strange "leak", water vapour is condensing on the outside of the ceramic cistern ( like a cold beer) and running down the sides and into my floor.
The cistern is a 20"X6"X12" close coupled type, bottom feed inlet with flapper type water outlet. I have reduced the water level to a bare minimum with the inlet float. Bathroom seems warm enough, maybe our mains water is too cold??
Any advice?
Cheers
Mike

You've got too much water vapour in the air. You need better ventilation. Either with a extractor fan, or at the very least keep the door to the bathroom open to allow the air to circulate. And don't have long hot showers!
