Hi,

I have an Aqua Style electric shower and have noticed it leaking around the hose connection to the unit. I whipped the case of to investigate and it looks like it is coming from the seal between the metal part of the heater exchange and the black hose connector. I have attached photos.

It is possible my wife pulls on the hose when washing her hair standing outside the shower and this has caused the seal to come away slightly.

A couple of questions really. Is this repairable? If it is does it mean a new heater exchange or is it worth just buying a new unit?

If I do purchase a new unit I really want one that can just replace this one without the need to get in a plumber. Any suggestions?

Thanks
Paul

You can buy a new Pressure relief device for about £18.
Is it leaking from the black part or the soldered part above ?

The prd only pushes in the heat can and has a o ring sealing it.
