I replaced the filters on my RO water filter and the system has sprung two leaks. Both are from the 1/4" thread connector on the pieces of the filter they connect.
One is a plastic filter housing and I've tried it with and without PTFE. The other is on a magnetizer unit which is metal. I've also tried PTFE tape on the thread, but no joy. I've tightened them up as much as I dare, and they look to be fully screwed in.
Any tips? I'm a bit of newbie to this and only do the filters once a year at best, so i have serious little experience to draw on.
Thanks
