Hi, I am looking to bud a leanto off the side of my sandstone building. What fixings should I use for the joist support into the wall? I mean just the piece of timber into the wall the rest of the frame will be supported by on that side?

I know I'll need to probably add some damp proof membrane to protect the wood but I am more concerned about finding the right fixings. I'm thinking a poly or metal corrugated roof, so I don't want to over engineer the fixings incase years to come we want to remove the leanto.

Any advice?

7mm drill holes, 7mm brown plugs and 100mm 6's (of longer) screws.
